Pants

I am unreasonably pleased that some of the girls in Gunslinger Girl wear pants. Literally, not just metaphorically. There’s nothing wrong with skirts, but all skirts, all the time, for all female characters, always looks off.

Do you have to wear a skirt to a wedding nowadays? I hate skirts.

Happily, no. I say “happily” because generally I like reduced gender-based restrictions (unless you’re talking about costumes). I typically wind up wearing skirts to weddings, because most of my formal (and cut-above-business-casual) clothes were bought with Scottish balls in mind, and are therefore skirts.

It’s mainly the pantyhose I hate. Not as much as I used to…but when getting dressed in the morning, it’s just much easier to pull on a pair of pants.

I guess that means I also have to wear stockings (or panty hose). It’s Bryon’s wedding so I don’t want to diss him.

You should totally diss him. :) Wear a skirt, no pantyhose, and don’t shave your legs.

That totally is the look I’m going for.
